Imagine Music Teacher since 2011
Specializing in Voice/Singing, Piano and Royal Conservatory Exams and Conservatory Canada Contemporary Idioms for Voice and Piano
Juliana is the best voice teacher and is highly skilled in piano and theory for lessons in Calgary. First of all, her success is seen by her large student return rate. Her students certainly receive high scores for both piano and voice in their Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) and likewise in Conservatory Canada exams. Juliana enjoys teaching a range of students from toddlers to adults who also have the opportunity to perform at recitals.
Juliana began studying piano at the age of 5 and continues to play classical and popular music, in addition to sacred church pieces. Her first degree is a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Calgary followed by a Bachelor of Education from Ambrose University. Music theory, music history, musicianship, conducting and teaching music in both Elementary and Junior High Schools consequently enhanced her music technique. Most noteworthy, Juliana is in the process of completing her Royal Conservatory in Music (RCM) and Conservatory Canada Contemporary Idioms Certificates in Piano and Voice. Finally, she is always striving to become a better musician, and even more so, a better music teacher.
Juliana understands the importance of volunteering and supporting the Calgary Music Community. Hence, she is a regular volunteer at the APTA (Alberta Piano Teachers Association) Music festival, similarly, also at the Calgary Performing Arts Festival (previously known as the Calgary Kiwanis Festival). She is also a member of the fund-raising committee with the Calgary Performing Arts Festival.
Juliana’s Studio is Registered as a Conservatory Canada Examination Site

Juliana’s Approach to Teaching ChildrenJuliana believes parental involvement is paramount in a child’s musical development. Success is a combination of hard work and dedication from both the child and their parents. Juliana encourages parents to participate in their child’s practicing. While two people may be the same age, the rate of maturity can vary greatly. Juliana believes that each child should not have the same musical lesson plan. Instead, the musical lesson plan should fit the child.
