Valentin, our best classical voice, theory, harmony and history teacher is a gold medal winner! He has many credentials to teach classical voice or musical theatre styles.

With his vast knowledge of classical and opera repertoire, high level of education and performance, Valentin can offer his students a real musical experience full of adventure and discovery. He can take any aspiring student to the next level.

Valentin holds an Associate Diploma (ARCT) from the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) as well as an Associate and Licentiate Diploma in Singing (ATCL/LTCL with Distinction) from Trinity-Guildhall College London (UK).

Valentin has earned international recognition for his distinctive vocal qualities.

He has been cast in various musical productions, such as Eugene Onegin (Tchaikovsky), The Magic Flute (Mozart), Amelia Goes to the Ball (Menotti), La Traviata (Verdi) and Le Roi D’Ys (Lalo).

Apart from the operatic repertoire, Valentin was cast in various oratorio performances, including Messiah (Handel), Esther (Handel), and The Creation (Haydn).

Valentin is an active music artist in the Alberta community. He has participated in multiple cultural and charitable events, such as Vibes of Romanian Music, Musical Extravaganza Gala, Mrs. Calgary Christmas Gala, European Film Festival Gala, Heritage Festival, and Alberta Strong Charity Concert.

He has also collaborated with various Opera Companies, based in Alberta, such as Opera Nuova, Calgary Concert Opera Company, Cowtown Opera, Grande Prairie Opera, and has sung with the Calgary Civic Symphony, Rosa Barocca and Rocky Mountain Symphony Orchestra.

Valentin’s musical approach to successful teaching is based on the following ideas:

  • Coaching students to understand the core principles of their voice production.
  • Helping students understand the musical message and style of the music they are singing.
  • Teaching students to sing with poise, expressiveness, and proper lyric diction.
  • Coaching students to succeed at musical performance, exams or leisure.
  • Teaching classical harmony and history can help students appreciate music and deepen their musical understanding.

Besides teaching, he has been collaborating with writer and video producer, Daniela promoting her new children's book.
