Lana’s Approach to Teaching:
My desire is to give students a good basis of musical knowledge along with technical skills to play for sheer enjoyment! I believe in my students individual learning styles and respect that each student is unique. I try to discover their own inner passion for learning music by encouraging them to express themselves with a fun creative approach, even using music games and telling composer stories & fun music facts.
Many students have been with me for years both young children all the way to adults continuing to advance their music education. Some even have become professional teachers themselves!
